Operations

Get a location in Landing Zone to upload a file.

Request

Creates a new location in the landing zone to upload a file. If a FileID isn't provided in the request, the File service generates a Universally Unique Identifier (UUID) to be stored in FileID. If a FileID is provided and is already registered in the system, an error is returned.

Required roles: 'service.file.editors'. Users added to groups 'users.datalake.editors', 'users.datalake.admins', 'users.datalake.ops' would be added to group 'service.file.editors' by default.
