Petromod Open Simulator enables basin modeling specialists to develop user-defined plug-in functions to access Petromod input data, as well as the Petromod simulator output, after the simulation with the intention to analyze and refine the results. Based on additional input parameters new output overlays can be generated and taken into account. Open Simulator scripts are coded in Python and use custom Python modules provided in the Petromod installation to interface with Petromod.
