Ocean SDK Installation

• Matching Petrel installation (e.g. Ocean SDK 2024.1 – Petrel 2024.1)

Recommended to install the minor version 1 of the matching major Petrel version so the plugin is compatible with all minor versions of the same major (e.g. Plugins developed for Petrel 2024.1 are compatible with any Petrel 2024.x version)

• Visual Studio 2019/2022 with Professional/Enterprise license

• .NET Framework 4.8 development tools (included with Visual Studio)

1. Log in to the SLB Software Download Center
2. Accept the SLB terms and conditions
3. Search for "ocean framework for petrel"

4. Download the relevant version of Ocean for Petrel
5. Run the installer
