# JWellSchematic

## **Presentation**

Written completely in the Java language, JWellSchematic provides visualization components and associated data object models for visualizing down-hole equipment found in a well through out its life cycle, including drilling, completion. production and work over operations.

JWellSchematic is designed to provide a flexible and high-quality graphic engine to accommodate the needs of a variety of applications such as well design, bottom-hole assembly displays for monitoring drilling operations or detailed wellbore schematics and well intervention visualization. JWellSchematic can read wellbore and wellbore schematic information directly from an XML file, or you can add equipment information programmatically.

This architectural overview explains JWellSchematic's dependencies and features. See the ManualCreationTutorial.java in the tutorial folder of the WellSchematicVisualization package for an example encapsulating JWellSchematic's main features.
